The uncertain, changing, paradoxical and ongoing nature of complex challenges requires different ways of being and working, based on what really matters to you.

When things are uncertain the process holds us. We need to be intentional in how we engage with complex challenges.
We form relationships and make meaning through dialogue, so the quality of our conversations matter. We think this is a natural human capacity, but when stakes are high conversations require us to be purposeful in how we set them up and approach them.
Much hinges on how we participate in conversations and problem-solving processes. This means choosing how we show up, being aware of our internal world, and taking responsibility for our actions, words and choices in every moment. These are all in our control.
Complex Mess
We acknowledge all Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, where we work and live that is the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and we recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community. We acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have been managing Complex Messes in this place for thousands of years. We pay respect to their Elders, past and present.
